Lonely

Lonely is not in your head

It’s in your gut

If you’ve felt it you know

When the feeling in your stomach

Makes you double over

That’s loneliness

.

When the feeling in your stomach

Makes you cry in pain

That’s loneliness

.

If you are merely alone

If you are missing someone you will go back to

If there is light at the end of the tunnel

That is merely being alone

.

No, Lonely is hopeless

Lonely means you will sleep alone tonight

And the next night

And the next night

.

And sleep is your only relief

.
